queues with linear ring strategy 2 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi2all.
I'm trying to get working queues, with external phone numbers as static agents.
I choose ring strategy linear for queue and expect that phones willbe ringing one by one.

But phones are ringing together:(

I change external phone numbers on internal extensions, but they ringing together too:(

Elastix version 1.6.2-1, Freepbx 2.7.0.2 is up to date.

I had already reinstall queues module. But problem still exists.

What additional info you need to help me find the root of problem?

Thanks

can you please send the logs? It might be bug, if so should be reported in bugs.elastix.org

regards,

rafael

Before sending an log files I want to ask another question (probaly bug is in my genetic code:)

I reinstall Elastix(Elastix-1.6.0-i386-bin-29Oct2009.iso) and perfrom elastix update, freepbx update to 2.7 , and asterisk update.

Now I have
elastix 1.6.12
freepbx 2.7
asterisk 1.4.30

I can see string "linear strategy" for queues- but it doesnot work.

*cli> queues show default
-ring strategy ringall

I created queue with strategy linear name = 654321

*cli> queues show 654321
-ring strategy ringall

Code:

[656565]
announce-frequency=0
announce-holdtime=no
autofill=no
eventmemberstatus=no
eventwhencalled=no
joinempty=yes
leavewhenempty=no
maxlen=0
periodic-announce-frequency=0
queue-callswaiting=silence/1
queue-thereare=silence/1
queue-youarenext=silence/1
reportholdtime=no
retry=0
ringinuse=yes
servicelevel=60
strategy=linear
timeout=17
weight=0
wrapuptime=0
dynmemberonly=no
member=Local/120@from-queue/n,0
member=Local/110@from-queue/n,0

So..
General question: can I use queues with linear strategy for 1.4 asterisk? Or this function is restricted by * version ?

Thanks.

Hello. I've installed Elastix 2.0 RC2.
After installing I get problem with dahdi for my tdm410P ( svnview.digium.com/svn/asterisk?revision...68&view=revision )

In Elastix console I perform
yum update asterisk.
Asterisk were updated from 1.6.2.6 to 1.6.2.6-3.

But now!
When I created queue with static external agent, with linear strategy, my call to queue is dropped after 1st agent:(

If I use internal agent only - linear strategy works.
But if I add an external number, before internal extension - call interupted again.

PS in Elastix 2.0 RC2- if I choose 'ringing instead MOH' for queue I'll listen silent at caller side...

How I can organize the queues with linear strategy? wtf - one bug fixing call another bug:(
